FAQs
Q: Where does my dog stay when they are with you?
A: All dogs stay in my personal home with me. This allows dogs for the best learning environment with cooking meals, watching T.V, vacuuming, mailmen, guests and so much more. Your dog will never be left alone at night, and often travels with me on daily trips to stores for public manners!
Q: Will there be work after the board and train?
A: Absolutely! The majority of the work will be taught for you. Obedience is dependent on the dog and human relationship. Dogs are a product of their environment. Following through with all the guidance, packet, and recommendations given will keep you successful!
Q: What is an E-Collar?
A: We are an E-Collar program. That means your dog will be fully E Collar trained after they leave here. This allows you to continue your communication, off leash freedom, and reliability. We use Mini Educator collars that uses the most advanced technology of a Tens Unit. The exact same Tens Unit we use on ourselves.
Q: How much are the E-Collars?
A: The E-Collars we use are Mini Educator Collars. You can choose to purchase one and bring it with on drop off day, or I will provide one. They do range in price depending on the size of the dog, hair length, allergies and sensitivities. If I provide the collar, additional charges are between $200-$300. We can discuss this more in detail!
Q: What’s your availability?
A: We usually are booking out about 3 months. We only take two board and train dogs at a time. This allows for quality training for all clients! Reach out for exact availability.
Q: What training tools do you use?
A: We use tons of treats, toys, praise, your dog’s food, E-Collars, Slip Leads, Prong Collars, Long Lines, and leashes. Remember, we believe in agreeing and disagreeing with all dogs to communicate in all environments! Don’t forget to check out our Instagram and Facebook to follow the current and past dogs in our programs!
Q: What do you require for all dogs in your program?
A: All dogs need to be up to date on Distemper-Parvo, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccines. As well as on a Flea and Tick medication, and a negative fecal result within 90 days of the program.
